It was a non event for the most part. A little rain and Ice. It is now 28 F. We lost power at 6:30 for 2 hours. Just another day in paradise. Monday is suppose to be the big ice day. Last year we got real snow.

We got lots of freezing rain and sleet with a bit of snow on top of it all. Just heard the 1st vehicle moving down the street since 2 am Saturday... Someone out in their UTV playing. Not going to even try to go to work tonight. Everything between me and the interstate is iced up still from what I can find out. Even the interstate is solid ice for stretches down til you get into Fort Worth around I-820. Not worth it to make the run at 10 pm to work and back home at 7 am tomorrow.

45C here today hottest Australia Day for us, up north in Ceduna they were at 49.5C

39F here this morning but very nice and sunny. Already had two large mugs Swiss Miss Dark Cocoa. Good day to listen to the radio and read while sitting in the car.
