Amazing what a difference good tires make .... lol ;-P28f. Heavy snow falling. My normal 20 minute commute took an hour. Witnessed four crashes on the way home. Only one serious.
I live on top of a bluff. Watched nearly a dozen vehicles try and fail to get up the hill. Me? No problem. New tires.
I've been running Nokian Hakkapelitta studded tires for many years now. The only problem I have is they make me over-confidentAmazing what a difference good tires make

There was one squadron of A-24s. The Americans understood the concept of fighter escort. But the P-39s just didn't have the legs.Took the two extra blankets off the bed, washed them, and put them away too early. It got up to 86F one day last week but today winter is back. Was 45F this morning and does not look like it will top 56F today. Even cooler tonight. It is sunny out so I think I'll retire to the car, turn on the radio, and read some in the "Savage Skies Emerald Hell" book about the Solomons and NG campaign.
By the way, it seems that the reason those A-24's sent there did not do too well is because the USAAF apparently had never heard of a concept called "Fighter Escort."
