The Holy Grail, what is it? Is it a physical object? Is it material wealth or riches? Is it a higher sense of being? Is it a road to somewhere? Or is it just a dream that never comes true? The German army marched on this one belief they marched the road to their own version of the Holy Grail. What they were searching for they never found.
My film looks at the sadness and despair as early German victories turn into failures. The German soldier's neo-medieval crusade ends with their puppet strings attached to one ruthless mad mans dreams, his HOLY GRAIL.
All war is sorrow and the winners tell it their way.....I tell it mine.
