Another brief aside:
I remember having a large plastic Thunderbird 2 model toy as a young lad. Then it went missing and wondered where it went. The story goes I had left it in the car on a hot summer day and it basically melted.
I also remember having a die-cast metal Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle, and a SHADO Interceptor from the old U.F.O. television series. (A quick Google search suggests these were the toys made by Dinky.)
