The colours on the Typhoon are much more true to the actuals used in my opinion.

I dont know how I feel about it, it looks cool but we are in a military alliance with Germany, dont forget the past but lets move on. Clave does great fantasy stuff like this in graphics I dont really know what I think about the thing in the flesh.

It's OK, the Luftwaffe Tornados are being re-painted in a mottle of RLM 02 over RLM65, with yellow nose cones ........................

If they do, I'll make sure I'm nowhere near the hangars - they might make another big gap between them !

    Yep !
It reminded me of a visit to Bamburgh castle, on a summer's day in the late 1980's. Walking up the approach ramp, looking over the battlements towards the sea, there was a sea 'fret' (a heavy misty layer), with a roar and screaming noise emanating from it. Suddenly, a (then) West German Bundes Luftwaffe F-4 Phantom emerged from the haze, banking steeply over the castle at around 500 feet, quickly followed by a RAF Phantom FG1 bearing down on its tail !
Fantastic sight - taka, taka, taka ............ !!

BoB paint schemes are still so much more attractive than the modern patterns. A formation of T-33s in RLM74/75/76 schemes would be good too.
