IP work. Instead of Quinta, I used airscale instruments and though it's not done yet, I think it's looking okay.

Working the cockpit and here's where we are.
Gun bay forward of the cockpit.. I know I need to change to RLM 02.
Always thought it nice to have a fuel tank in front of my face in a combat aircraft...
Need to add the straps, or not...
Rudder peddles in cockpit tub.

IP mounted on bazel it was irratatingling enjoyable to do this with the airscale interments. only got one wrong, you find it.

Continuing on..
The airscale seatbelts and I have met our match. I pulled out the kit supplied ones. Not a fan they are not correct for the 109 but I can't work this origami crap no more.....
The gear cover in the gear well on the E was a canvas lining. The kit supplies a vinyl hoop to simulate this.
Started on the engine. Most of this is the same sprue from the Bf 110 series. There you follow up with the Bf 109 specifics...
Just test fitting the wings to the wing struts.

Thanks guys, finished up the pit and pinching it all together, I used the belts from the Quinta set. Those Airscale belts got the better of me.

These dinky little soft belts and buckle sets can be a pain, the mood has to be just right to make them. Those replacement belts in that great looking pit look just fine.

Shot mr surface 1500 from a rattle can. I know it's brown. Mistakenly bought it and figured it would work for a desert scheme.

Shiny as well. Whats your next move! It's a little too dark for desert sand unless you use this colour as the blotchy bits and the over spray with a lighter more sand colour.
