A few weeks ago the US Air Force Academy sponsored an aerobatic competition. I had to work that day so I went out there to visit the gathering. I actually worked on the blue and yellow Decathalon 6 years ago when I was working at a small GA shop. Enjoy!

Like the shots of the Jungmen. Nice little bird. Probably flies beautifully.

Quick question about the decathlons, are they all aerobatic? Ever fly one?

"Very Aerobatic." I've never flown one but from what I understand you could do a lot with it. I've flown Citabrias, lots of fun and easy to fly.

Thanks for info. One of those things that's in the back of my mind. Into SR22s now. Not much flying with them, more "systems management". Translated, if the thing can land, taxi and take off by itself, there's no need for me.

Wouldn't mind something like that some day in the future. Real flying.
