Rex's Hangar has diverted from its usual litany of metal monsters and flying slugs to drop the first hour of a two-part video on the Vickers Wellington. The video measures up to Rex's high standard for information given with snarky British understatement, plus it offers a partial answer to the question that's come up in these forums before: why didn't the RAF give up on four-engine bombers in favor of medium bombers carrying 4,000 lb cookies? Of course, no amount of information could ever completely answer that question to everyone's satisfaction, but the video offers some interesting insights.
