Hi Colin, thats a Ford Falcon mid 1960s.
I agree it does look like a Vauxhall Cresta, especially the front end and general shape. A lot of Australian cars over the yaers have been Opel or Vauxhalls rebadged though moreso we sending cars overseas being rebadged as Chev, Pontiac and Vauxhall.
About mid 70s was when the affiliation started to be noticed like Opel Kadet which is a Holden Gemini over here.
Memory serves there was only one realy British car there and that was a 1940s Ford Pilot with a 5L V8 naturally
Hopefully will get to some more events this year my father being a British car/bike fan, also helps that he's originally a Brit I guess
