Visit to Boxsted

Small but neat museum. Best part we’re stories from some people who were kids back then.
Main reason for my visit was that the 56th FG were there from January 1944.

As you say, a great little museum 👍 Richard who started it off is a great bloke. When we visited a few years back, opened up especially for our visit 😃 Oh for a time machine to see the 56th, mid/late 44 in all their finery. Brave men all and great Boxted has this memorial to them and their many sacrifices. Great post

Part of the old perimeter road.
Have this piece from the R2800 of George Brackens P47.
Also have a nice library there, would sell me any of the signed books ☺️
