Saw this today...hope they manage to save the old war hero (not just a Dunkirk veteran but also a veteran of the Great War):

The vessel was part of the 800-strong flotilla which helped 300,000 stricken soldiers escape the clutches of Adolf Hitler in 1940, and now a bid is underway to restore it
