Looks a hell of a lot faster than it actually was.

Yep, the intended engine (the Clyde) was stopped in development by Rolls-Royce, and the Armstrong Siddeley Python was used instead - In some ways it was a dead-end as everyone was developing jet aircraft, but it was good for the 'learning curve' on later turboprops...

It did see combat - in the Suez Crisis of 1956...

OK, here's my last couple of versions:

The first one is the full-blown Suez Crisis one with invasion stripes and a full 16 rocket load, circa 1956.

The second one has a torpedo... circa 1954.
