Frigg'in work of course change for the sake of change is BS about 90% of the time.They revamped how we look up parts it's like going from W7 to W10 messy and to much info more than you need taking longer to real and link to what one needs...the customer/me ...two more years and it's bye-bye.

Usually this sort of "time wasting" is because there have been what are euphemistically called "incidents." Are you complaining about other required training, like dealing with hazardous materials?This shit below.

We had the same crap here in Qld a few years back. Volunteer fire fighters give their time to save lives and properties. They should not have to waste their time and money to go to a stupid training program to get certified as safe to be around children. Even worse this training and the annual renewal of their "qualification" cost them money.
What sort of a @#$%^&* moron comes up with the idiotic idea that a firey who is busy fighting a wildfire or blazing house will stop doing fighting the fire and molest a child while the house or area burns down around them. If brains were gasoline these morons would not have enough to start a cigarette lighter.
We lost half our local brigade, and they were forced to merge with another depleted brigade, (and cover both areas) because of this crap.
The government should be supporting these local heroes - not forcing them to resign.

No. I am complaining that there is no public record of firefighters molesting children during a fire but "squillions" of public records of police and teachers grooming and molesting children yet of the three groups only the volunteer fire fighters are forced to take this training and get certified as "safe". Part of that certification is a police records check yet teachers do not need this training or the police record check and nor do the fuzz themselves.
Ask yourself this question also - when does a firefighter have time to groom a child while fighting a fire where the child is? Unlike police and teachers a fire fighters contact with children is minimal.

Where I live, public and Catholic school teachers get both annual training and background checks. I don't know about police, but police misconduct is also more likely to either get swept under the rug or go unpunished when discovered (our local police chief was just found to have embezzled around $100,000 dollars -- the exact amount is unknown as he was the only person with access to information about the account, having decided a second set of eyes on it was superfluous -- and he hasn't been charged. I try that with the funds for the school team I mentor, I'd be out on bail awaiting trial before the week was out).
Anyhow, I agree that people who have more access to children should be vetted, and that includes police, teachers, social workers in child protective services agencies, clergy (issues with clergy seem constant with religion; it's just that Catholic clergy is part of a protective hierarchy), scout leaders (the US Boy Scouts have had severe problems), coaches, retail and fast food managers...
And, of course, parents, which is one reason why teachers where I live frequently get to call the local child protective services agency. Every teacher, in every district, from the richest to the poorest will have a story about that student who was raped by their father or grandfather (for one student I had these were the same person) or uncle or ...

Yeah. Here clergy and Sunday school teachers, scout leaders, etc need to be vetted but the two worst offenders do not. Some suggest that the two unions are responsible for this situation. If so then, to me, their leaders should be charged with aiding and abetting every time a member is caught.

Yet another sinus infections, starting anti-biotics later today. I hate taking anti-biotics, they usually make me feel as bad or worse than the actual sinus infection. On the bright side, at least it's Thursday and one day closer to the weekend and several Guinnessess (is that the proper term for more than one Guinness)?

Yesterday when we fuelled up all the diesel pumps were out of action and I thought it was just the local servo. Today's emails included this. Given 99% of consumer goods are moved by diesel trucks this is !@#$%^ worrying. Add to that there is a lot of local flooding around Bundy our chances of getting stuff from the supermarkets there come Friday do not look good.

Doxycylene for my sinus infection is kicking my arse. Was done taking it last Thursday but have developed some nasty skin irritation on my head, shoulder, neck, back, chest, arms, etc...
Hard to breath at times as well with chest pain.
Finally went in yesterday to make sure it wasn't my heart, EKG was good. Looks like an inflamed esophagus, gave me sone nasty concoction to drink right then, helped for about a half an hour. On sone other meds for that now, but it is making me dizzy and nauseous. You can't win. Things could be worse I guess.
Never will I ever take Doxycyclene again!!!

Same as Google Image. I type in "Fw 190A-8 Red 19", the model I'm building, and I get a few other built models and then the rest are every Fw mark, every colour in the rainbow and all the numbers in the universe and then it moves on to every other Luftwaffe aircraft built

On this, the date marking the birth of two of the greatest minds in history, (1. Me, 2. Albert Einstein) I awoke to find that the newest of my cable boxes will not allow DVR recording on ANY channel. For some time now attempts to record some programs result in either the DVR not recording anything or recording X number of hours of one still picture. Now they seem to have turned the whole damn thing off. I will be carrying that cable box back to Spectrum next week. I had planned to visit them and ask what cheaper options are available, but now I have another reason. Also, that NEW cable box has never had a readable time display, even right out of the packaging.

Thanks but unfortunately the one photo I have found shows the cockpit area and no mottling there. The pic shows from the front tie down strap on that model, back to the "1"
