The absurd stupidity of some of these little people. The future is so bright, I got to wear shades.

Fighting a nasty cold.
Up half the night coughing and wheezing. 🤒
And today's supposed to be the nicest day so far this year.
Same here. Felt it coming on at work last Friday, Saturday was worse, Sunday and Monday I left a note on the front door for where the Grim Reaper could find the body. Finally started to break up last evening. Worst cold I've had in a long time.
Must be something in the drinking water up her in Minnesota.

Running the H&R Block program, doing my taxes. Last year I paid the Federal Govt a total of $38,000, which is $4000 more than I get from Social Security Retirement in a year.

This year it looks like I will have to pay them $55,000, which is only $10,000 less than I get from my USAF retirement pay. Last year I sent them a total of $11,000 in advance and even so this year I'll have to send them at least $20,000 additional with my 1040 form.
To prevent from being assessed a penalty for not paying enough in advance, this year I'll have to pay them in advance essentially almost every dollar I have coming in on four occasions.
April, June, September, and next January will be rather lean months.

I am annoyed.

I have them withhold from my army pension at my marginal tax rate.

Had to deal with a "Karen" today. Apparently a sign at a bus stop that tells you were you need to stand to go to certain locations, the sign on the bus that is lit up that says where my bus was going, and a t.v. screen with a list of all the bus stops we were headed to was not enough information for a lady who got on the wrong bus. Of course her being late for work was all my fault.

Laughing with you.

As Norm Peterson from the TV show cheers once stated "Women, you can't live with them - pass the beer nuts"...

my back and right knee (my good one) are killing me. I have to be at school though as we are having Xello lessons for 1 and 4 periods. The are building their roller coasters 6th and 7th periods, so I don't dare leave them alone with hot glue guns.

In business, as in the military, the scum often rises to the top.
I refer everyone to the book, The Peter Principle, which describes how every person rises to his level of incompetence. And there he stays, causing problems, because those above him are reluctant to fire someone whose career was so brilliant to that point.
That is one of several reasons I turned down promotions in my company, now retired building models happily.
