Well, at least, you are getting notifications about your postal packages...

Here, they suddenly decide to vanish without a trace!!! Or sometimes the postmen, roll for sleight of hand!

Here AusPost do not track parcels under 2kg arriving from the UK even if you pay for tacking.

The last trace was often "recieved by AusPost at xx airport".

I send my light UK packages to Ireland and then family consolidate and send.

Urgent items I ask the shipper to add cheapest anything to bring weight over 2100 grams and add tracking. Those packets arrive though typically take 12-14 days to get the 1200km from Sydney to us.

That's because a package that heavy is a two person lift, and it's hard to find two people on the same shift that aren't on medical lift restrictions.

What annoys me today and has annoyed me for some time now is that the thread about the Ukraine war is such a diareha of reposted social media stuff. It's very hard to moderate, having to wade through hundreds of those posts, most of which is probably AI hallucinated propaganda anyway (I didn't check all for obvious reasons).

I don't see the usefulness of the thread anymore, but some members still seem to enjoy it and it's not against the rules. So I guess it will stay open. But if you think that the thread is badly moderated, this is probably the reason why.

Disclaimer: this is my personal opinion and not an official stance from the forum team.

Regarding that specific topic and its subject,

I believe the real enemies have already breached the EU, US and anywhere else...

Just tell them to put a few stones in it! It'll becone heavy enough for them to track it! ;) ;) ;)

Going grocery shopping and coming home to discover that my family won't use up opened jars of peanut butter, so now there are four open jars in the fridge mostly untouched. Same for salad dressing.
But a box of crackers has a life expectancy of about 1 minute.
You store peanut butter in the fridge?

Same thing as the orange juice bottle remaining with the equivalent of two spoonfuls.

A**holes on my baseball web site. They have a nice IGNORE option you can use. I like that. That kind of un-annoys me. But only a little.
