I did some nesting yesterday. The new house lacks any bathroom cabinets, the kitchen is temporary and limited, there is not a single closet rod in here. I moved out of the apartment which had these things and my crap was just in a heap.
I went by the local thrift store and got one more upper cab so I could land a few dishes somewhere, and started cleaning and lining the rough shop cabinets I put in there with cheap liner from Costco.
I got $65 plus the disposal, which comes forward to the new kitchen, into it. Every other thing was free or I had. Except for the new Samsung induction range
I got 3x $5 totes and those white silverware doohickeys at Dollar Tree, and I have my clean laundry in clean totes for now till I bring a dresser from home. This is like a slow motion train wreck of a move where I keep a presence in two places for a few months, > 100 miles apart.
Today I will measure the 30 windows and make a map of that, and we will decide on which ones to cover and how.
Big sale at HD.
Many will get the top down-bottom up cellulars.
Wife got quotes on just 8 for her sewing room and our bedroom suite from blinds stores. $3600 average WT actual F Mate??
These are averaging ~200 each. I can breathe now. Those other blinds were more than the windows themselves and that is ludicrous.
So no welding today more nesting activities and I will put up a closet rod at the coat closet. That is simple and do-able.
The rest of the closets are my custom creations and will not be quick or simple.

Went to the library to scan more microfilm. Got my daily code to log in and suddenly realized I forgot my thumb drive. It was still at the house plugged into the desktop computer....Grrrr....wasted morning as possibly no chance of getting on the scanner when I would get back in about 2 hours... Blew the moning for me. Will see what I can salvage for the afternoon.

On way home, took to my daughters to Seven Mile Fair. They found some things they liked and I bought something for myself since Hobbytown USA didn't have anything I already don't have. I bought a wooden tanto, or more like a bokken and a lighter.
