Good enough for me, but finished now. Coffee and chocolate chip cookies (biscuits over there), not tough enough for a beer. An antihistamine perhaps. Learned from doctors in 1955 I have a severe allergy to newly cut grass, however, my father overruled five specialists.

Went yesterday to Zagreb (together with missus and our two daughters), to set-up and clean the stuff in the apartment, as well as the apartment, where my older daughter will be living for the next 12 months while on the studies. Returned today. Back to business tomorrow.

I really enjoyed Zagreb during my trip several years ago. There was a restaurant within walking distance of our hotel (that overlooked the park downtown) called the "Vinodol" near Tesla Square. Superb dining and wonderful atmosphere.

I also survived the Rotor during rush hour traffic...

Mix a chub of hot sausage and one of sage sausage, cook and place on super flaky biscuits fresh out of the oven. Split a biscuit spread some real, ice cold butter on them and then drop in the sausage and eat while hot and dripping... makes a meal!

2026 has been a real crap year for me so far, long story, but the short of it, is I am borrowing a friend's jeep while my Chevy is down for repair (the electronic timing failed, causing the valves to hit the pistons).
So this morning, in town, I came around the corner and a Doe with a Fawn bolted across the road. My reflexes kicked in and I did everything humanly possible at 40mph to avoid the Fawn, but still hit it.

Fortunately (for me), the angle that I had the Jeep at during contact, saw the Fawn come up the hood and off the far right, missing the windshield.

The Jeep can be easily fixed, but that Fawn's hip and leg are destroyed and it's weighing heavy on me.

I was so disappointed when I found out kid gloves are actually made out of goats.

We put the band back together. My older brothers and nephew rode the late bus out for a weekend of work.
It was damp with the rains and a little chilly, so I re-commissioned the hydronic heating. I have no idea if I have the curve close yet.
It started out at ~11 amps and has dropped down to a low of 4.8 amps and seems to be holding it's own. No cycling yet.
At first I gave it just the first two floors, 2720 SF and that was not going to do it. It was heading for a cycle so I gave it the basement slab mass to chew on.
That seemed to do the trick. The Service water temperature started in at 83 F .
4.8 Amps = 1160 watts
It runs at about 16 amps at full load and is an inverter that can get on down to 35% power.
It follows a curve I plotted and tracks the outdoor temperature inversely. I put the sensor out by the power pedestal in the shade for an accurate reading.
