Same shot last January when we were framing. I safed everything off and this has been bugging me.

I got fancy and drilled holes on the bottom at all corners so I can fish low voltage wire through.

You're gonna put low voltage wire on your balcony?!?!?!?
My entire house is wired low voltage 51 volt DC.
It runs on the DALI Network.
What goes out there will be ribbon lights underneath the hardwood handrails that will provide just a little subtle light and also illuminate those stairs for safety.
I'll put them on a motion detector and a timer because I don't like light pollution.

Thought you were electrifiying ur railings

moving for the second time in our married lives. It has been 30 years at this place.

we took a load Tuesday and Wednesday with my truck and a 12x6 enclosed uhaul trailer, and Wednesday night was the first night for my wife in the new home. Thursday morning we took the lift up to the party room with coffee and watched the sun come up. It was shrouded in cloud but we could see the distant mountains for a while.

My brother brought this round table and chairs for card playing.

I repaired the cherry desk and that cabinet I built got new and more casters, and the sit/stand desk on the left had a big swayback in it that I tensioned out with some spare 1" steel tubing.

The 1" tube is not impervious and it will bend under load, so I used the washer trick and that got the assembly within 1/8" flat over 72"

I'll leave that for a while, then drive in a couple of door shims. One of two things will happen.
1) I tear the screws out of the MDO top and then move over a few inches.
2) it straightens the rest of the way.

I will terminate the network cable I left in the wall and set up her office desk. She has till Wednesday morning to get set up to work from home.
I left a pair here that we will not use, after looking at how her desk will go. That is why I did not bring them out into a plate for the sheet rock guys to cut around etc.

This pair loops here in her south wall,

Then continues up to loop in the bedroom above at the same 12" outlet height.

Then on up to just below the ceiling.

Two wires with 3 possible locations. That last one is for an Access Point (AP) and I have one coming from the old house I will put there, most likely. Or not. :)
I had 6 boxes of CatX wire left over from IT jobs I have done and I burned up a bunch of it.

Stab the wall with your stab saw. Reach in with long screwdriver and pry off that cable staple that was keeping it out of the way of the sheet rock crew. Pick either one, Sally or Sue.
I have bags of these Erico low voltage brackets.

Next up is that rat's nest under her sit/stand desk.
