Why no kits of...?

I'd like to find a folding wing Seafire Mk.III. This was the Merlin-powered, first folding wing Seafire and the variant produced more than any other. Yet, I can't find a kit. I'd especially like one in 1/48 scale, as I find 1/72 a bit small.

Instead, available Seafire kits are of the Griffon-powered Mk.15 or later, aircraft that didn't appear until a few months before VJ Day or postwar.

EDIT

Here's one, but in foreign livery, sigh. Supermarine Seafire Mk.III
