WW2 Battle of Britain, how many bombers (or fighters) did the Hurricane shoot down, compared to the Spitfire?

Those figures seem remarkably accurate compared to German losses; are they official credits from the RAF at the time or post-war?

Post war.

They don't cover the entire period either, but since I can't find the reference I took them from I can't say for sure the exact dates. My guess is the three months, August-October inclusive.
 
The ORB's are available online and are currently free for download. The OP should 1) determine all the Fighter Command Squadrons operational during the BoB and 2) search all the available ORB records and report back. Here's the list for August, 1940, No. 1 Squadron. Also available for download are the combat reports.
