I am so sorry if I have posted this in the wrong place I wasn't sure where to put it. I am wondering if anyone can help me with my grandads records ... on the 31-12-1944 it looks like HEA but I cannot find any RAF abbreviation that covers that or the underneath where it reads E Asst? would this be Engineer Assistant?
Thank you for any help on this :)

I think it's u/t EA - under training. In my experience it's common RAF usage, especially on personnel records.

That would make sense thank you ... and I think E Asst is ...Equipment assistant ...he later was a supplier so I think that all fits thank you once again :)

Hi sorry me again, I think I am just about done on my grandads records but this has me stumped I wonder if anyone would be able to explain it says Douglas (A) date of movement 9-9-1941.
Google just brings up Douglas Bader or the Douglas A bomber ....
Any help appreciated thank you

Sounds more like an attachment to Douglas, Isle of Man, possibly in connection to prisoners of war?
