Here is a set of detailed photos of USS Halford DD-480 on 25 April 1943 at the Puget Sound Navy Yard from the starboard - they only miss showing the aircraft crane, which is on the port side with its vertical located just aft and outboard of the aft funnel. Note the canvas-covered item on the stern - this is the aircraft fuel tank:

I built a model of this many decades ago. Aurora, I think. I remember the molded seaplane as especially awful.
