I hate to awaken the spectre of "over-claiming" that usually occurs in some cases, but I find this 1st lt. Lavrinenko Dmitriy Fyodorovich's claims of 52 kills in just under 3 months very interesting.

I wonder just how many of his credits were for actual tanks, since they're including SPGs in the tally.

I know this is an old post but I felt the need to add something, I've not done any additional checking but at least on his wikipedia page, which claims 58 tank and spg kills, it's claimed he was killed just after claiming his 52nd tank. That would make it 6 SPG's.
