Polikarpov I-16 Type 24

Shown here is a I-16 Type 24 undergoing bore sighting tests in 1942. Of note are the two 110 kg (220 lb) bombs, alternatively six RS-82 rockets could also be carried undereing. Visible in front of the pilot is the standard PBP-1A reflector gunsight.
