Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IXC

Shown here is another Spitfire Mk.IXC modified for high-altitude work, this one was used by the Special Performance Flight based at Aboukir in 1943, for the protection of the Canal Zone in Egypt. It was later used by No.74 Sqd in the same area.
