Well I am at the point of painting but question what color were the wheel wells? Same as the cockpit or same as the rest of the plane which is going to be aluminum.
And unfortunately I did not add enough weight to the nose as it still sets on its tail but I'm not cutting it apart to try and add...
Well here is where I am at I have added the tail plains since then, but do I finish the kit other than wheels and canopy then paint or paint then finish.

Hm probably the paint job like I said My first try with all aluminum plane and my first go with Vallejo and Life color.
And I understand two kinds of plastic and no fit that is what their p59 air comet kit is, sorry to say it's not getting done anytime soon.
And wurger what do you mean by...
The quality of the plastic is better than their la174 still need to trim the insides, decals still suck I just stuck with the main ones.
Wheels are the weak point of the kit especially the main gear THE canopy is also I think too small.
My first real try with a all natural metal airframe...
well here it is Decals on and they sucked had one shred on me, I did have a spare from another kit not quite right but at least got all 6 on it.
A model seems to use several different kinds of paper for their decals and like their kits it's hit and miss. Canopy is also bad but it is a limited...
Other than decaling which you only get is the stars and a couple other things it's done. It was part of their fighter competition with the mig 9 and yak 15 which it did not win.
It's a nice kit Having built several A Model kits the insides need to be trimmed, the fit after that for me is...
So here is where I'm at but instructions say 30 grams in the nose what do I use? BB's or would a pine car derby weight work as you see there is not much room in the nose.
This kit is nice I highly recommend it. The only problem would be the color call out are for gunze sangyo numbers with no equivalent for other brands or even fs numbers.
The french fighter and yak 23 both have resin and photo etch parts.
So I was wondering which kind of zap a gap to get, Never really used any so I don't know which kind to get.
I just got some life color paints to try and am wondering are the metal colors suppose to be goopy
I'm asking because the other colors Olive drab and neutral grey silver and aluminum are not goopy as when I shook the bottle to mix them up I heard the sound of them mixing and they looked...
Well I know I havent posted anything in a while but I have been doing jets and here is what I just ordered to get back into a ww2 mood Amodel p59 air comet and special hobby yak 23 flora
The new testors paints actually new or just remarked model master brand?

I have Airfix'es 1/72 Hurricane/Sea Hurricane mk2c and found that update set and am wondering would it work for any and all versions of the Hurricane.
Also saw a resin main wheel bay update set as well but it says it's for the Hasagawa kit but would it fit the airfix kit as well as aren't...
