Hi does any one have any information on WW2 aircraft or the place the plane's was stationed at in the south east UK. Hastings saw a lot of action in WW2 and I'm trying to find out if there's any stories about planes being called out to Hastings.
Has anyone heard of this flight sim for iOS, Android, and Kindle?
Most recently, the Airbus A318, A319, and A320 were added. The A321 was also reworked. The models look really detailed for a mobile game, but the instruments still don't function. It probably has more than 50 planes now...
I recently purchased RT-22 AN/APX-1 IFF Transponder Set; used in Navy aircraft F4F, F6F-5, FM-2, F4U
How was it used and what Army Air Corps planes was it used in?
what else goes with the system in the aircraft?
Why do Navy Planes Have Tailhooks?
Unbelievably, people don't realize that after a tough day of flying on and off of an aircraft carrier the planes are always washed, and then they use the hooks to hang the planes over the side to drip dry.
One of the main and most important Allied bombers, the B-17 was sparked interest and greed target of Germans and Japanese during WW2. Inevitably some planes were captured and tested by the enemy. I share with you the link below that has some photos of these planes, some rare, with German and...

Okay, let's say we discard the concept of a revolving auto-cannon and imagine Germany attempts to make revolving cannon based off of the Gatling gun design. Do you think they could have pulled it off?
Also would would one cannon producing a volley of bullets be more effective than multiple...
I looked farther into the Gloster VTOL project in my last thread and found there were a few more.
Enjoy
Gloster Aircraft Company experimental VTOL designs 1958-1961 - Album on Imgur
My thoughts on it:
The 1958 entry is really an outlier
497, 504, 505, and 507 are all fighters using Rolls-Royce...
Good evening mates.
Any question, the Luftwaffe used primer before painted?
If use, what the color is and this the color is same for all planes or the color change for different planes.
I need the color primer for heinkel uhu he 219.
Best regards.
I noticed it on planes, and my friend told me these things were important, but he couldn't remember what these were called and what their function was.
Can someone tell me what these are, and what they do?
Why were the control surfaces on the Messerschmitt planes so small (as it is with most other german planes also) compared to their allied counterparts?
So I have never been to this before but it was cool and different. Seen about 25 different planes come in and land on the snow with ski's here in Wisconsin.
Enjoy!!!
Looking at many of the WWII fighter planes you see many different styles of prop blades, but the one thing that's always puzzled me is how they determine the number of prop blades. The Germans seemed to believe 3 blades was the way to go, as hardly any of their fighters had more than 3 blades...
Just wanted to see if people here played the amazing (yet sometimes amazingly frustrating) game. Just a little discussion here about it, considering its about WWII planes.
