Hey, fellas. While I'm waiting on stuff for my Pan Am build, I figured I'd re-do both my Alaska Airlines 737-800 and American Airlines MD-80 in American Airlines livery (RWB stripe, the one we all grew up with. and I know the MD-80 is already in American Airlines livery, but I figured I'd re-do it using skills I've acquired over the years. might do the same to my first Concorde a little later on)
so here it all is, all laid out. some of the stuff was pretty easy to get off.
decided to start on the Alaska bird first, sanding away the decals on the wings. (good lord I used too much paint) and sawing off the engines, as they would NOT break off easy. (will use the new engines from the other 737-800 kit, as I'll be ordering resin engines for it)
top view, took off the winglets too, as I'll be using one of the two resin winglet sets I got from Hannants.
ohhh man, I know I'm gonna be building two whole new alaska birds (737-800 and 400) but it's painful to just sand away the titles and eskimo face of one of my favorite airlines
