Are you making home-made decals? If so, how?

With a printer, Microsoft word, and waterslide decal sheet
But I was told about Bonding spray and I'm wondering if it is necessary

I've used the Testors decal system and it is recommended. They also include a small spray bomb. You should be able to use any clear coat but don't spray it on too thick or the decal colors will run. Also, don't use a brush to coat the decals as they will smear.

Just noticed that the decals that came with the kit are white and the numbers on the subs look black. I'm going to assume black is the correct color?

I like models.... 127 parts.... just got a 47 par p-51 and I feel like it will be too easy

You will definitely need a bonding spray. I have used the Testors system to now but I understand that you can use any good acrylic clear coat. I've not tried any so can't make any recommendations on that.
