As I mentioned somewhere else in this forum, I recently started building the above subject that intrigued me because the camou is quite colorful, for a German late-war bird, as you can see in teh enclosed picture.
I started from the Hasegawa kit dedicated to JG2, with the addition of Aires cockpit & engine set, propellers, wheels etceteras.
More to follow very soon, I hope you will like my job.
Alberto

And now some pictures from the w.i.p.
I also tried to add some riveting to conform with the real thing.

Hi, some more shots on my w.i.p.
All refer to parts not glue yet.
Third and forth pictures shows the two mm gap between item belonging to the same Aires kit, something needs to be done there.

Some more.
Primer and first coat of fuselage color, that's an attempt to replicate the so colled "RLM02 late-war". I got by mixing 20 drops of "Duck egg green", 30 drops of Light Gray FS36495 and 60 drops of Tan FS30219.

Hi everybody!
Done some more painting.
Thanks to suggestions received, I repainted leading edge area with RLM 76 color.
I also decided to paint the black underwing crosses, but something went wrong, probably because the color was diluted too much and leaked under the mask. I will have to correct or do it again.
