1/32 Trumpeter F4U-1 Greg "Papy" Boyington Corsair

Hi There!

Just finished my 1/32 Trumpeter F4U-1 Greg "Papy" Boyington Corsair.

I scratched build the fuel tank section with milliput and added details as viewed thru the bottom window of the plane.

The name Lulu Belle is debatable since I think it was only added for promotioal pictures of Greg Boyinton sitting at a Corsair, but I decided to add them just for fun along with all the Japanese Kill flags.

The inside of the Cowling is by Aries.

Very nice detailing on the engine/cowling area... I did this kit also, in the same guise, only it was Lt. Bill Case's "873" from VMF-214... Gotta love those flaps...
