Thanks, more work on my "problem child". I have the wings on and was going to add the drop tank saddle but it doesn't fit in the holes I opened so I puttied them and will lay out new holes where they should actually be. I also noticed the pitot on the left wing is a short shot, I thought it was awful short when I opened the box, I thought I had broken off the long piece but there is no break mark, it was molded short. I also need to figure what to do about the missing mg barrel that goes on the engine cowl. There is one barrel missing from the sprue. I am hoping to finish this as I still have never completed an Eduard kit. They seem to be hexed!

More work, I cut the line up pins off the drop tank saddle and after a round of sanding I put it on according to my dimensions from a drawing and the Eduard instructions for the Erla kit. My Diana kit does not use the drop tank or show where the saddle goes. I then went to drop the scoop in the hole in front of the drop tank. the scoop was too wide and cut out hole too narrow so I had to file the scoop and scrape the opening with my knife. Somewhere later in the build I am sure some off beat non observant part will fit on perfectly with no adjustment needed, I am sure.

Ordered decals from Exito at Super Hobby in Poland. I am looking at black 5 from Hungary in March 1945.
