Thanks for the reply. I really like the way the Alclad Klears look but I had to ditch them because I was getting finishes that remained tacky for weeks. Not all of the time, which was strange but it happened enough to where I started looking elsewhere. Right now I'm using Alclad Aqua Gloss, which I really love and adding Tamiya Flat Base to the Aqua Gloss for flat finishes. The stuff dries hard in a few hours and it is very durable. But (there is always a BUT isn't there?)... you will get an awful whitish cast if you put too much Flat Base into the mix. I thought I had it dialed but I just got that ghostly white sheen on my little P-40... urrrgggh!
