Since the primer and paint stage has started on the P-47 . I decided to start start on my next plane gear up on a stick. The 1/48 HB P-38 Lightning . So decided to do some scratch building on the inertior . Just need to find another ICM pilot next :)

Your Hellcat looks great Brian, and ... detail inside the P-38, starts to look very good.
With your models in full flight on a stake, you are inviting me to make my first attempt with an aircraft in flight, and I have an old Revell model of a P-51, so I see it as a strong candidate.

Making some head way on Jamie Boy / The West By Gawd Virginian P-47. Tonight after work i will have the OD and then it will be time for gloss coat.So stay tuned folks :)

Paint is finally completed . I bought some Alclad II Gloss Klear Kote to try and the results is just amazing. I airbrushed the first coat like they said between 20-25 PSI . So I airbrushed a second coat between 15-20 PSI and had excellent results. So this is the results and four hours. Looks like I found my new gloss coat :)
