1/48 Monogram Bf109G-10

I did the 1/48 Monogram F-100 when I got back into plastic in the 80s. My very first model plane at 12 or so was the circa 1962 1/48 Monogram Me-109E in shiny black n dark green plastic.....stood about a foot too tall on those stilts Monogram molded as gear legs!
 
I used the 1/48 Monogram kit for another subject and never replaced it. I should have a replacement kit, same Monogram-Revell 1/48 Bf109G-10 kit, here some time next week. I will restart the build then using my HAD decals for Black 6 of the RHAFs 101st Fighter Wing. I think I used the original kit as a Luftwaffe night fighter.

Vandee, both a/c above all decals you show are for G-10/U4 sub-variants (with the 30mm MK 108 cannon). The Revellogram model IS NOT a U4, but you can scribe the hatch on the right side.

IMHO the tires in the kit are not the bigger 660x190mm but the standard 660x160mm (used with smaller wing fairings).
Out of the box the model is a Bf 109G-10 manufactured by WNF/Diana. Those were from 610xxx-612xxx and 770xxx production blocks. U4-subvariant is among them but with the small difference. I'm attaching a "recognition sheet" by Eduard for this particular type - hope it will help you in your decal search.
BTW I have a newer Revell-issue of the same model with better decals and they are (here here) for the "White 11" as seen above and for a "Yellow 5" from 10./JG 51.
You can check the "Eduardian" Bf 109G-10 WNF/Diana kits (profipack and weekend) for more ideas, but be careful with the U4-subvariant (Eduard's G-10 WNF is a U4).

I was just going to ask if Revell's 1/48 Bf109G-10 was a Diana built plane. My HAD instructions said it had standard Diana camouflage for Black 6 of 101st RHAF Pumas. So does that mean it has a short tail wheel and large wing bumps?

AFAIK Diana- and WNF-manufactured a/c are virtually the same - only Diana was on Chech territory. All details are as per "check-list" I attached before.

Just out of curiosity what is the Revellogram Bf109G-10? I heard it was a mish mash of 2 different planes cobbed together. Does it really have an RLM designation?

Models manufactured by Monogram and later re-boxed under the Revell (USA or Germany) label are known as "Revellogram". Those are the same molds, not a mix of two or more models. For example my Bf 109G-10 is in this box:

There is a newer one:

and a German one:

These are all "Revellograms" for me and virtually the same as yours. Decals and plastic colour may vary.

P.S. There is one minor difference when looking at a Bf 109G-10/U4 as well - the MK 108 gas vent:

I'm not quite sure this detail can be seen in 1:48 but nevertheless it is one of the differences, usually not shown in books/sources.

While I still have time HAD calls out 75-76-83 as the camo colors for HRAF Bf109G-10s. Sound about right? I always get RLM colors mixed up to this day.

IMHO everything about Hungarian camouflage and markings in WWII can be found in Denes Bernad's book. In your case in Volume 2. If you can find some excerpts showing Bf 109G-10 profiles with descriptions, you don't need to buy the book.
It's only my personal opinion. I stopped trusting model/decal instructions at some point. But I must say that nowadays those products show a much better research and sometimes authors of books work as consultants. Check who's responsible for your decals, maybe.

P.S. Checked the Hungarian Bf 109G-10/U4 camo-schemes as per Eduard's models I mentioned above. Pretty interesting for me and these are IMHO some of the better researched subjects. I'm attaching them for comparison.

I think I have it figured out. From most of what I am seeing the camo is 75/83 over 76.
 
I received an e mail saying this was shipped last Friday, used their tracking number and it is not at post office yet, number created but item not at USPS. E Bay used to pull this crap all the time, tell you it shipped when in reality all they did was create a tracking number, don't like the way most places do this, it's deceitful. Any ways I was thinking as this is a Diana G-10 I may do an Erla G-10 after this. I know Eduard does one and think Hasegawa does one in 1/48 also.
 
Check your parcel with global parcel tracking , not with ebay-tracking (which is a BS). I was tracking an international letter 2 weeks ago - 3 tracking sites gave me 3 different infos at the same time. Later on they became the same but at some point the delay can be in days, before something changes.
IMHO 109G-10 Erla is made by Eduard only - I have the weekend edition.. With the correct cowl and radiator. Hasegawa is AFAIK Bf 109G-10Mtt (don't have it at the moment to check the parts).
