It was a "Black 2" from 5.JG 52 - not sure about the camo though. Source: AsisbizI believe Revell, or Monogram, got their information for this kit from the USAF G-10 at their museum? I know the current scheme is not the planes original scheme. Does anyone know what the original scheme was for the USAFs Bf109G-10was when they recovered it from Neubiberg Germany in 1945?
I know that camouflage with the dark fuselage. As per a more modern source the colours of the Reichsverteidigungsband and number are different though (different unit) and it's (probably) an Erla G-10.BTW this is what happened to the original kit molded in green plastic.....used kit decals....why? Don't have any idea why I did this last year...even added tall tail wheel???!!! Not one of my better builds either!![]()
The Eduard model has the 2 types of tires - the 660x160 (used with the small wing bulge) and the 660x190 (used with the big one). You will need the bigger ones for the G-10 Diana. The Eduard 1/48 Diana G-10 should be here soon for the Black 2 build.
