Tonight on the Republic Thud channel . I plugged the outboard pylon holes since this build I'll only be using the inboard pylons . Got the right side aux air intake screen drilled out and glued on . Got the 650 Gal Centerline tank assembled . Looks way better than the kit one . I'll be using a aerobonus SEA resin figure with the build which will be a nice touch .

Spent a couple of days workings on the inteior . Side consoles painted with Tamiya LP Black , for the grey I used my own Tamiya cockpit mix . There is a guy on FB who,me came up with a great wash to use instead of thr typical spray gloss coat , apply wash , then flat clear. It consist of 1 part water , 1 part future floor wax and little drop of Tamiya flat blaclk. Mix real good and brush on. Once dry spray your choice of clear flat. For console detailed i drybrushed model master neutral gray . Other details was done with Tamiya acrylics . Next install the wing spare and glue the fuseloge halves .

Today on the Republic Channel Thud Fuselage assembled . Forsome reson on this build i had to d some sanding with sticks on the nose section for clean up . I removed the spne and underside nose beacon lights as for the SEA Thuds did not have them till later on . Nose cone was drilled out fo the master brass pitot .

Clean up of the rest of the parts went good . When I went to clip the burner ring it cracked but was fixed with super glue . Tight fit slidding the burning can in so I did some sanding on it so it would slide easier once painted.
