Cheers Hugh, ok into the back end of the fuselage/cockpit area...filled the 'holes' with plasticard and sanded smooth and now started the internal frame work on the starboard side...

Well John, Roughed it out...dryfit...sand slightly...dryfit...sand slightly...over and over till I got a perfect drop in fit! spent more than half an hour on it...sometimes I get a little anal about getting things to fit just right when other stuff is going to be overlayed on top.
