Thanks guys. Got bored so I started filing down the styrene. Followed with a coarse sand and now thick primer brushed on and curing. Got it tamed I think.
I'm going to withdraw this build from GB 37 as I want to finish this model to depict the below aircraft mentioned in post 14:
This has an attractive scheme and represents an aircraft based in Lethbridge Alberta which is not far from where I live. The aircraft is shown as it served some time in 1941 and therefore does not fit the theme of this GB.
Wojtek, please move this thread to the Start to Finished Build section. I will continue the build there. I have already changed the title.
Some accounts of the "Battle Of Britain" don't have it ending until mid-May 1941, with air attacks by the LW . continuing by day and night right up until that time. So I don't see it as necessary to remove this from the GB build if you don't want to
