Great work, can't wait to see the finished product! Dom Gentile was a hero of mine growing up, I built a 1/48 of "Shangri La" as a kid and a couple of 1/72's.

It looks like your excellent work will do him justice.

What the heck happened here? The only one of the Lifelike decals that crapped out and discoloured on me. I have not seen this before. Usually a decal for me will bubble up or tear but colour fade? I just used Sol and Set on this decal though I used a weeee bit of Solvaset on the other decals like the national insignia and had no problem. Anyway. I scraped it off, repainted, added a lacquer gloss coat and will use the Tamiya set from the kit. Weird.

Truly weird. I have had a bottle of Solvaset for a long time and have yet to use it. If I have issues with a decal settling, I reach for my trusty, rapidly dwindling Polly Scale Decal Solvent

Okay. Port Side almost complete. A few little indicator decals to put on but getting there. Got some decal lift on the national Insignia on the fuselage but no biggie I will fix that once I get I move to the weathering stage. Alclad Clear gloss was used for the clear coat.
