Oh, the neck and shoulder things are just minor, and only there since late January, so a recent addition to the catalogue of knackered bits !
I have both Rheumatoid and osteo arthritis, with bent legs, both knees locked, stooped spine due to compression of lower vertebrae, about 20% use of the left hand, but no grip, limited articulation of the left arm and shoulder, with large nodules at the elbow (quite painful).
Right foot is rigid, and damage to the right ankle, and a chip in the right (rigidly locked) kneecap.
Right hand has limited articulation and grip, with "swan neck" fingers, bent down at the tips and unable to grip properly. Right shoulder has previous injury damage, causing limited movement and continuous pain, and a crack in one of the neck vertebrae severely restricting rotation and elevation and also painful to very painful 80% of the time.
(also a couple of old wounds and breakages cause regular "flare up" of often sever pain).
Due to the degraded immune system, there is muscle loss, leading to lack of lifting strength, and the lowered resistance of the immune system leads to lack of energy, and disrupted sleep due to discomfort and pain.
The current numbness in my right hand can be described as like having been burned, and then severely stung by nettles, with minimal sense of accurate feel when touching things.
Pain and discomfort is constant, 24 hours a day, and varies from a "good" day, where it's only like being hit with a hammer all over, which is manageable, to a "bad" day, when it's like falling off a roof and then being hit by a big truck!
On top of that is the frustration, where even the simplest tasks are incredibly difficult and very, very time consuming and painful, or totally impossible.
But apart from that, everything else is fine !
