I've done a Sh!tload to this but nowhere close to All of the details.
There is a monster ledge at the fairing of the wing to fuselage that just Ain't there.
Sand and fill and sand some more to Both fairings.
And then there is a little pipey thingy sticking out, Both sides!
I soldier on...........................................!

Did a test printing of the stripes and windows.
Now consider I did the tracings right from photos in scale of the Connie so everything is in place as built.
From photo one of the full lengths it looks really good, am happy to print them.
But the doors of the kit are out of place and out of scale. So filling and scribing will be in order.
More work as you can see from previous posts. It's a bugger. But it is a kit from the 80's I think

Well now, after many searches for a Real photo of cargo doors I found This.

Which got a True placement and size of both doors.
But then from This one I see a Brow over the rear door
that I missed all along.

Right here! See the shadow above the door?!

So I did this! I also scribed the big door correctly.

Farrrrrr from finished.....
Got wings to do corrections on.
Engines sre going to be No fun, since
they are solid Resin!!!!!!!!

Holey crap, almost a year!!!!!!!!!
Idle waiting for decals for almost everything I am working on.
So I thought I would do some stuff to the Connie.
Went on to that "auction" site, saw this kit for One Hundred Forty + dollars!!!!!! WTF
So I first fixed the seam on the underside of the Starboard wing, shot is from the same angle.
There are joins Everywhere on this thing. Good thing I like mental anguish!
I also have the Fisher engines and cowlings and have been cutting stuff off where they mount.
They seam to fit okay. Looks like I will be doing some painting of them Before mounting......... last!!!!
It goes on and on...................
