Lockheed F-104C-10-LO Starfighter 57-913 (8th TFW, 435th TFS) hit by AAA while attacking a truck park near Troc, NVN on the 1st of September '66. Pilot ejected and taken POW. May have been beaten to death.

Boeing KC-135A-BN Stratotanker 57-1513 collided in midair on the 15th of October '59 with B-52 57-036 near Leitchfield, KY while during midair refuelling. The B-52 was carrying 2 nuclear bombs. Both aircraft crashed.

Lost 2 engines after encountering severe turbulence. Was able to land safely and was repaired.

To MASDC as BQ043 29/12/69. Scrapped Jul 25, 1977

Assigned to 142nd Transportation Company (Aircraft Direct Support). Assigned to C Troop, 7th Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment Ruthless Riders May 1970-Dec 1971. Combat damage Aug 15, 1971 South Vietnam. The pilot decided to fly back to the staging area at LZ English. The aircraft was later slung out under a Huey and returned for repair. Assigned to 604th Transportation Company (Aircraft Direct Support) Dec 1971. Bailed to Hughes Aircraft, Culver City, CA.

Combat damage Mar 14, 1969 South Vietnam by small arms fire which hit the passenger-cargo area, the tail section, and the main rotor system. There was structural damage to the helicopter plus damage to the fuel system. Assigned to 79th Transportation Company (Aircraft Direct Support). Bailed to Hughes Aircraft, Culver City, CA. Assigned to C Troop, 2nd Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment Condors Dec 1969-Feb 1970. Accident on the 20th of February '70 South Vietnam.

Boeing-Vertol CH-47C Chinook 67-18513 (B-483) accepted by the US Army on the 29th of April '68. Assigned to C Company, 159th Assault Support Helicopter Battalion. Crashed Tam Ky in Quang Nam Province, South Vietnam on the 2nd of August '69 after midair collision with O-2 67-21332. 5 crew killed. The O-2 also crashed, killing its pilot.
