Martin-Omaha B-29-25-MO Superfortress 42-65313 Delivered to USAAF on the 24th of January 1945. Assigned to 248th Army Air Force Base Unit, Walker AAF, KS.
Reclaimed at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ, on the 5th of May 1954.
 
Lockheed P-38J-10-LO Lightning 42-67913 (311th Ferry Squadron, 27th Air Transport Group) crashed near Hawarden, Wales, on the 12th of February, 1944.
Pilot killed.
 
Douglas C-53D-DO Skytrooper 42-68713 delivered on the 10th of March, 1943. Oran on the 13th of May, 1943. 8th AF 9th TCC. W/O on the 24th of November 1944, in landing accident Westhampnett, UK.
Condemned on the 1st of December, 1944.
Salvaged.
 
Douglas C-53D-DO Skytrooper 42-68813 delivered on the 19th of June, 1943. Oran on the 14th of August, 1943. Oberpfaff on the 1st of January, 1948. FLC Italy on the 29th of April, 1949.
 


Crew of a PBY Catalina attached to Air-Sea Rescue work to get TSgt James E Latta & SSgt Willis B Morlan out of the Adriatic after they were forced
to bail out from their B-24H Liberator following a raid on Vienna, Austria; on the 13th of October, 1944.
 
Douglas A-20C-10-DO Havoc 42-33313 transferred to RAF from USAAF stocks. RAF serial (if ever allocated) is unknown.
A-20C's from US stock were operated initially with their US serial but in around mid 44 they were assigned serials in the HK batch , approx. 56 A-20C's were given HK serials, these were taken from A-20C's to be supplied to Russia , I have looked thru my serials and it appears 42-33313 is outside the serial window of the xferd machines in the HK serial batch, approx. 11-12 A-20C's were also xfered from US stock in the Med these more than likely didn't get RAF serials.
Also all the HK serial block A-20C's and the extra dozen from US stock only operated in the Med/Italy.
