One of 2 Water Pump T-28s that were shot down by AAA at Quang Nam, South Vietnam, killing both crews on their return flight to Udorn, after they had been on a fact-finding mission to Da Nang to investigate the possibility of replacing the T-28s at Udorn with A-1Es.
