I&M Rail Link SW 1200 #13 built as MILW 1642, no location or date, Larry Anglund collection.

The I&M Rail Link (reporting mark IMRL) was a railroad operating in the north central portion of the United States. The company commenced operations on April 5, 1997, acquiring lines from the Canadian Pacific Railway and Soo Line Railroad. On July 31, 2002, the Iowa, Chicago and Eastern Railroad took over the IMRL's operations.

"This locomotive is still in this scheme working the grain elevator on the west side of Sterling, IL."

U-boat U-13 type IIB ... sunk 31 May 1940 in the North Sea about 12 miles south-east of Lowestoft, in position 52.26N, 02.02E, by depth charges from the British sloop HMS Weston. 26 survivors (no casualties).
