Looking at the found submarine thread, it shows a photo with submarines, "E4....E52, E53" I gets ta thinkin', I wonder if the webs has a E13. Lawdy, lawdy lawdy.....

MdL Robert Henri Cahen, pilot of squadron N 90 until January 13, 1918, poses at the controls of his Nieuport 23/24 coded "13" on the Malzéville plateau airfield (Meurthe-et-Moselle) in January 1918 - Pilot of the C 42 / SPAbi 42 squadron from February 25 to October 10, 1918 - Killed during a mission in the vicinity of Auve (Marne), October 10, 1918 - Crewed with Ltt René Ourmade (observer) who also lost his life, the SPAD XI which they were occupying, was shot down by the German DCA - Photo Robert Cahen transmitted by Didier Wolff whom I thank for his help.

Farman F 40 coded "13" baptized "Ca va gazer" of the MF 36 squadron landed in a field near Nieuport-Ville, October 20, 1916 - After a descent of 3200 meters, the pilot managed to control his plane and to lay it in too much damage, apart from the front end of the cabin which was sunk, mark of a rollover - The two crew members were not injured - Photo Fond Valois of the annex of the BDIC of the Army Museum of the Invalides.
