The way you guys "find" the number 13 is boggling my mind. For instance that is buy most accounts the number read a one thirty four, or one hundred and thirty four. It's not thirteen four. Next you'll be seeing thirteen if there is a one and a three anywhere in the number.

Took off 20:31 on the 29th of August 1941 from Elsham Wolds. Struck by lightning and crashed in the vicinity of Vlissingen (Zeeland) Holland where those airmen who were killed are buried in the town's Northern Cemetery.

Sergeant G P Williams (RAAF), Sergeant A H Figg (RCAF), Sergeant J H L Kelly, Sergeant J Grasson: killed; Sergeant H Dunn, Pilot Officer W R Oldfield: prisoners of war; aircraft shot down and crashed near Bergen-Op-Zoom, Holland, Wellington R1213, 103 Squadron, 29 August 1941.

Flying Officer S N Targowski, Sergeant G Twardoch, Sergeant T Piechowiak, Flying Officer T Oles, Sergeant W Mlynarski, Sergeant P Kubacik (all Polish): missing believed killed; Wellington R1413, 304 Squadron, aircraft failed to return from an operational anti submarine sweep, 16 October 1942.

Took off 23:10 on the 14th of July 1941 from Stradishall. Shot down by a night- fighter and crashed at Brokstrasse in the vicinity of Quakenbr_ck Germany where P/O Jenkins was buried in the Evangelical Cemetery.

Pilot Officer J C Jenkins: killed; Sergeant R Kent: died of injuries; Pilot Officer J G Crampton, Flight Sergeant A E Jones, Sergeant M Johnson (RCAF), Flight Sergeant R Instone: prisoners of war; aircraft shot down and crashed at Quakenbruck, Germany.

Took off 22:23 on the 20th of June 1941 from Marham. Heard on W/T asking for help after which the bomber disappeared without trace.

Took off 22:52 14 July 1941 from Driffield. Shot down by a night-fighter Oblt Helmut Lent....

Wellington W5513, 405 Squadron, aircraft crashed shortly after take off near Stowmarket, Yorkshire, on the 12 of April 1942.
