assembly by Messerschmitt Manching starting February 13, 1962 with parts from Lockheed
assembly in Fighter-Bomber version according contract lot 0; first flight June 14, 1962 coded KE+313
long term storage on July 30, 1962 without engine and equipment under project "Project 21" for 1 year
camouflage scheme "Norm 62" according tech order TA-196 at Messerschmitt in 1964
modified at Messerschmitt and test flight on May 20, 1965
DB+102 JaboG 32 delivery date on August 4, 1965
21+45 to LVR 1 on April 17, 1984; withdrawn from use and stored at LwSchleuse 11 on December 19, 1984
struck off charge order December 18, 1984
to Turkish Air Force on March 6, 1985 with 3.441 flight hours and TuAF serial number 62-7013
coded "4-013" 1987 at Murted AB; coded "9-013" at 9 AJU at Balikesir AB in June 1988 and August 1989, last noted
withdrawn from use August 18, 1995; likely scrapped...
 
Indeed I did old boy! I also found an E/E Lightning, RX713, an F3, of No. 111 Squadron....post #1919..

I think that might be Duxford's Lightning old chap, enhanced and changed, which is an F2 or F2A, serial XM135, although this might just be a 'display' serial number - got the info somewhere about it's original service, not with 111 Sqn. from memory.

Ah, my apologies. I thought it was an 'enhanced' photo from years back, before XM135 was re-painted at Duxford. Forgot about the 'hidden' bird at Leuchars !
Still, you've now got another Lightning with '13' in its number !

Yip, either way, one for No. 74 Squadron and this one for No. 111 Squadron...
