But what im saying is, regardless of how Germany might view England, there has never been any important games where either side has totally dominated the game (apart from when England beat Germany 5-1 in Munich)

If that's not what one would call close, or evenly matched then i dont know what is. And the two years i spent in Germany the fans attending the matches certainly had a deep dislike for English supporters. Im not suggesting English fans are angels far from it. But they are no worse or no better at behaviour than German fans. England often get a bad rep abroad because foreign teams seem to make an effort to goad English fans into trouble by either supporting whatever team England might be playing at the time and then taunting them into violence. Hooliganism is not as bad as it used to be thankfully. But i have been to games all over Europe and the world and maybe it's because we are an island, but it seems people instantly dislike England without even giving a valid reason. Take the posts on this thread for example. No sooner has Germany been eliminated, suddenly everyone wants to cheer for Belgium. I have to ask myself is it coincidence, or is it something that runs deeper. Im sure people will say im talking rubbish. But if thats true, whats so special about Belgium that England lacks. Because from where i am they look pretty damn equal in all aspects. Tbh i couldnt care less what other fans think. But i wont stand by and have anyone try to belittle English football. The premier league is arguably the most entertaining league in Europe if not the world. And before anyone tells me im wrong about that, then just look up how many world class players have joined British clubs over the years. Almost everyone at some stage of their career. We might be just a small island, but we can give as good as we get. After all, we invented the game just like we invented everything else. Oh and fyi, from where im sitting talent is exactly what Germany lack. Your best players are reaching the end of their careers and if they continue to play as badly as they have in this tournament i'd get used to going home early. And if Germany aspire to beat there rivals such as Holland and Italy, just remind me where Holland and Italy are right now? Oh thats right, back at home with all the other teams that weren't good enough to even qualify. And im really not hating, just saying. Imo
